    • best to do your major food shopping at the larger grocery stores (shop rite, pathmark) located on rt 72 east just before you cross the bridge to enter long beach island. better selection, better prices.
    • as far as restaurants, entertainment, etc, best to pick up the local free paper called "the sandpaper", it has all that information in there. you'll see them in yellow newspaper boxes along the road and also located in front of the shop rite.

  • Harvey Cedars Marina within walking distance, rental slips, rental boats, bait, fishing equipment, etc.

  • There is a guarded bay beach located at the west end of West 75th Street and Barnegat Bay, which includes the fenced swimming area, the sandy beach area and the pavilion.

    Payment / Lease / Key Procedures:

  • Two copies of lease are mailed out or a copy will be emailed to you
  • Sign and return lease with 50% payment , priority mail preferred
  • Final 50% payment (money order or check) with a $500 security deposit must be received 60 days before "move in" date (payment schedule on lease)
  • No more keys. We will provide you with a 4 digit code a few days before your arrival which will be valid for the duration of your stay

    Recent Policy Additions:

  • no pets
  • no smoking policy will be placed on the lease
  • anyone who verbally reserves a week and cancels for whatever reason will be permanently removed from the mailing list.
  • family oriented rental, not suited for singles, parties, graduations, large gatherings, bachelor parties, etc
  • Capacity limits: had some problems with overcrowding this past year, both people and cars
  • • maximum of eight people (adults and kids) per floor at any time
    • parking for two cars per floor available at house, others must park on public street
  • Anyone found breaking the house rules (e.g., bringing pets, maximum of 8 not strictly adhering to check in/out times, excessive noise, etc.) will be permanently removed from the mailing list. Please call to report those breaking the rules so the problems can be dealt with immediately !!!!
